Сегодня самой распространенной моделью является iPhone 7, на долю которого приходится 17,34% всех активных iPhone в мире. На втором месте расположился iPhone 6s с долей в 13,01%. Третья строчка у iPhone 7 Plus. Его доля составляет 12,06%.
Нынешняя топовая модель — iPhone X — находится на четвертой позиции с результатом в 12%. 9to5mac.com пишет, что это «примечательно» с учетом того, что аппарат находится в продаже меньше года.

Отмечается, что в среднем у новых моделей уходит около 6−7 месяцев для получения доли рынка в 20%. «На пике» в 2015 году iPhone 6 и iPhone 6 Plus занимали долю в 43,62% среди всех активных iPhone.
По мнению экспертов Mixpanel, если линейка iPhone 2018 года окажется удачной, то пользователи будут обновляться на нее с iPhone 6, 6s и iPhone 7. Скорее всего, для достижения доли в 20% им понадобится меньше шести-семи месяцев.
