Научные сотрудники Университета Вашингтона в Сент-Луисе провели эксперимент. Установлено, что умеренное употребление спиртного продлевает жизнь людям, страдающим сердечно-сосудистыми заболеваниями, в сравнении с трезвенниками и алкоголиками. В среднем они живут на год дольше, сообщает JAMA Network Open.

Год Свиньи 2019: что приготовить на Новый год?

В исследованиях поучаствовали 6 тыс. американцев с заболеваниями сердца. Эксперимент продолжался 24 года. Специалисты изучали влияние употребления спиртных напитков на организм. Их разделили на три группы: непьющие спиртное, умеренно употребляющие и алкоголики.

Выяснилось, что вторые и третьи после получения диагноза проживали около 2600-2700 дней. Те, кто умеренно употреблял алкоголь (не более 7 порций спиртного в неделею), проживали около 3100 дней. Продолжительность их жизни составляла на 1-1,5 года больше.

Причины такого влияния алкоголя на организм экспертами не изучены до конца. По их мнению, спиртное заставляет сосуды расширяться и снижает давление. Этими свойствами обладают пиво и вино.

Ранее ученые назвали стресс и алкоголь причинами преждевременного старения.
