В пятницу, 27 сентября, Беларусь присоединилась к глобальному движению, которое запустила шведская школьница Грета Тунберг. Для этого Вероника Янович просто вышла на площадку у минской Комаровки, принесла с собой коробку и написала на ней «Кліматычны страйк у Беларусі?..».
С 20 по 27 сентября в мире проходит Глобальная климатическая забастовка. В прошлую пятницу на нее вышли около 4 миллионов человек в 150 странах. Беларуси среди них не оказалось.
— Было прыкра, што мы ніяк не змаглі далучыцца, — рассказывает Вероника. Ей 23 года, она состоит в молодежном крыле партии «Зеленых».
Изначально вместе с инициативой «Молодежь за устойчивое развитие» они планировали устроить демонстрацию в Киевском сквере.
— Але з-за таго, што мы не вельмі добра разбіраемся ў беларускім заканадаўстве, не паспелі ўсё арганізаваць: падпісаць дамову з міліцыяй і медыкамі.
Но Вероника придумала другой выход: как Грета и тысячи школьников по всему миру, в эту пятницу она пошла не на работу, а к Комаровке, взяв с собой картонную коробку, на которой обозначила: «Кліматычны страйк у Беларусі?..».
— Грэта кожную пятніцу выходзіла да будынка шведскага парламента. Чаму вы абралі Камароўку?
— Па заканадаўстве, я не магу сядзець ля будынка парламента. Калі я прыйду туды, мяне вельмі хутка забяруць.
Возле рынка Вероника просидела около трех часов. Многие прохожие, говорит Вероника, молча ее фотографировали. Некоторые спрашивают, не собирает ли она вещи или деньги.
— Не, мы нічога не збіраем. Такім чынам мы проста хочам паказаць людзям, што беларусы таксама могуць выходзіць і казаць пра тое, што мы думаем наконт зменаў клімату і не толькі.
Но далеко не все понимают идею девушки.
— А что вы делаете? — спрашивают мимо проходящие женщины, жуя булочки с повидлом.
— Мы хацелі б прыцягнуць увагу да змен клімату ў Беларусі.
— И что вы для этого делаете? Просто сидите? Смешно.
— Прамова Грэты на Генеральнай Асамблеі ААН справакавала вялікую хвалю дыскусій. Напрыклад, шмат хто кажа, што яна яшчэ школьніца і не можа быць эксперткай, што ў яе ёсць пэўныя захворванні. Што вы думаеце на гэты конт?
— Я на баку таго, што яна кажа, а не яе праблем са здароўем. І я згодна з яе думкамі.
— Вы напісалі на скрыні «Кліматычны страйк у Беларусі?..» з пытальнікам ды яшчэ са шматкроп’ем. Чаму такая фармулёўка?
— Гэта для таго, каб людзі маглі паразважаць. Гэтыя словы не толькі пра клімат. Яны таксама закранаюць пытанне магчымасці людзей выказваць сваё меркаванне ў Беларусі, выходзіць на вуліцу, чаго мы не можам рабіць без пэўных наступстваў. Амаль увесь свет можа гэта рабіць. Нават у Афганістане людзі выходзяць і пратэстуюць. А ў Беларусі — не.
