В Секретной службе США сообщили прессе, что нарушитель спокойствия был оперативно вычислен и удален с мероприятия. По предварительным данным, метателем телефона стал 31-летний мужчина по имени Уильям Роуз, находящийся под воздействием наркотиков и алкоголя, сообщает ВВС.
К прилетевшему на сцену смартфону была привязана учетная запись Роуза, но тот стал отрицать свою причастность, заявив, что гаджет был у него украден. Теперь специалисты намерены проверить состояние психического здоровья мужчины, а также выяснить, что стояло за столь неудачным броском — реальная попытка покушения или же лишь его имитация.
В сети пользователи массово проводят аналогию со случаем в 2008 году, когда в Джорджа Буша бросили ботинки. А в 2014 году от запущенного в нее ботинка успела увернуться Хиллари Клинтон.
