Белорусские правоохранительные органы в первой половине 2018 года обратились в Apple с запросом предоставить данные о 110 аккаунтах, но не получили нужную информацию. Это следует из «отчета о прозрачности» компании.

Согласно документу, за первое полугодие 2018 от белорусских силовиков к Apple поступил один запрос. Он был связан с раскрытием данных о 110 учетных записях.
Запрашиваемая информация предоставлена не была. Apple не пояснила в отчете причину отказа.
В ответ на такие запросы Apple может предоставить информацию об учетной записи владельца iTunes или iCloud — например, имя и адрес. В некоторых случаях силовики просят передать содержимое iCloud, в котором могут быть сохраненные фотографии, электронная почта, резервные копии устройств iOS, документы, контакты, календари и закладки. «Мы рассматриваем эти запросы очень тщательно и предоставляем контент только при наличии официального ордера», — уточняют в Apple.
Компания уже не впервые раскрывает информацию по обращению белорусских правоохранительных органов. Например, за вторую половину 2017 года силовики отправили два документа: об одном устройстве и об одной учетной записи. Apple полностью удовлетворила запросы, раскрыв данные, не связанные с контентом. В первой половине 2016 года правоохранители обращались в американскую компанию и получили необходимую информацию. А в 2013 году на похожую просьбу из Беларуси Apple ответила отказом.
Запросы от правоохранительных органов могут касаться поиска утерянных устройств, кредитных карт, которые использовали для покупок против воли владельца, а также случаев, когда предполагается, что учетная запись использовалась для противоправной деятельности. Кроме того, запросы могут касаться чрезвычайных ситуаций, когда есть угроза опасности для большого количества людей.
