В своей авторской колонке на страницах Sunday Times Кларксон сначала заявил, что считает лучшим автомобилем суперкар Lamborghini Huracan Performante. Далее он перечислил пять худших машин, указав их главные недостатки.
Так, на первом месте оказалась модификация Fiat 500 под названием Abarth 695 Rivale. Ведущему шоу The Grand Tour не понравилась слишком жесткая подвеска и «отвратительная курсовая устойчивость». Также Кларксон подверг критике неудобное положение за рулем этого субкомпакта.

Кларксон оказался впечатлен «умными технологиями» Audi Q8, но за прямую конкуренцию BMW X6 поместил этот кроссовер на вторую строчку «антирейтинга». На третьей позиции — раскритикованный за «уродский дизайн и чахлый двигатель» кроссовер Dacia Duster.
Далее Джереми не устроила крайне жесткая подвеска хэтчбека Mini 1499 GT. А в расположенном на пятом месте универсале Volvo V60 ведущий высмеял «унылый» дизельный двигатель.
Ранее по итогам продаж в 2018 году самым «провальным» был назван Land Rover Defender.
