В марте глава СК России Александр Бастрыкин провел прием граждан в Москве из разных регионов страны. Там он рассматривал фотографию с места происшествия на ноутбуке, которую принес один из граждан. Чтобы лучше разглядеть детали на снимке, Бастрыкин воспользовался лупой. Недавно он объяснил, что таким образом хотел увеличить «очень плохое изображение» с камер наблюдения.

«Вот, наконец, моя любимая тема. Вот я специально принес, чтобы немножко вас развеселить. Во! Что это такое, товарищи? А? [Показывает лупу.] А что такое мем, молодежь? Мем? Виртуальный мем? Я почему принес: в интернете можете посмотреть „Бастрыкин мем“, „Бастрыкин лупа“. Я, оказывается, создал этой лупой мем», — уточнил Бастрыкин во время лекции во Всероссийском государственном университете юстиции.
По словам главы ведомства, он «применил оптическое изображение на цифровое». «Механику цифрового изображения я увеличил с помощью оптической механики лупы. Сейчас самая главная проблема техники в криминалистике в этом отношении — это совмещение методов цифрового увеличения с оптическим увеличением», — пояснил глава СК России.
