Милиция установила владельца 5 кг радиоактивных веществ, найденных 14 марта в мусорке на улице Сердича. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба ГУВД Мингорисполкома.

В ходе проведенных оперативно-разыскных мероприятий сотрудниками милиции было установлено, что радиоактивные вещества принадлежали минчанке 1939 года рождения, которая умерла в 2016 году.
«Установлено, что женщина ранее работала на химическом факультете одного из столичных вузов. Накануне внучка умершей женщины решила навести порядок в квартире, в которой ранее проживала бабушка, и вынесла на мусорную площадку емкости с веществом неизвестного ей происхождения», — сообщили в милиции.
В настоящий момент по данному факту проводится проверка.

Напомним, утром 14 марта на минской мусорке нашли пластиковое ведро с емкостями со знаком «Опасно. Радиоактивные вещества или ионизирующее излучение». В ведре было пять емкостей с порошкообразными веществами: уранил хлористый — 2 банки (по 1 кг), уранил азотнокислый — 1 банка (1 кг), уранил сернокислый — 1 банка (1 кг), уран трехкислый — 1 банка (1 кг).
Предварительные замеры показали превышение радиационного фона на расстоянии одного метра от емкостей в четыре раза. После изъятия емкостей был проведен замер фона на контейнерной площадке — радиационный фон в норме.
