Александр Лукашенко после голосования на парламентских выборах ответил на вопрос, когда в Беларуси стоит ждать новую Конституцию. По его словам, специалисты Конституционного суда уже представили ему свое видение изменений. Однако спешить в этом вопросе не стоит: Лукашенко обещает, что Конституцию не будут менять к ближайшим президентским выборам, которые назначены на 30 августа 2020 года.

— Элементы новой Конституции, с точки зрения судей Конституционного суда, мне представлены. На основании их предложения мы можем переходить ко второму этапу. Скорее всего, сформируем более широкую группу специалистов, которые попробуют написать Конституцию в сыром виде и представить ее президенту. И я, если сочту нужным, представлю этот вариант обществу. То есть третий этап — обсуждение.
Лукашенко заявил, что «будущую Конституцию надо написать за одну неделю».
— Но это будет мой вариант, а Конституцию должны понимать люди, наше общество, прежде всего, молодые люди, которым жить с этой Конституцией.
По его словам, он потребовал от специалистов Конституционного суда, чтобы каждое предложение должно быть персонально подписано.
— Меня удивило и обрадовало, что они не собираются ломать нынешнюю Конституцию. Берут раздел: «Да, он работает». «Давайте изменим?». «Нет, он работает, не надо его трогать». Но какие-то статьи предложили поменять.
Лукашенко подчеркнул, что он не намерен ставить четкие сроки, к какой дате должна быть готова новая Конституция — «спешка неприемлема». При этом он сообщил, что не стремится, чтобы изменения в Основной закон страны были внесены к грядущим президентским выборам.
17 ноября — основной день голосования на выборах депутатов Палаты представителей Национального собрания седьмого созыва. На 110 кресел в Овальном зале Дома правительства претендуют 513 кандидатов.
Избирательные участки сегодня открыты с 8.00 до 20.00. Посмотреть адрес своего участка можно на сайте ЦИК.
На 12.00 воскресенья в стране проголосовало 46,06% избирателей.
