Apple скорректирует стоимость гаджетов в местной валюте, приблизив ее к прошлогодней. По словам Кука, это повысит продажи в отдельных регионах. Ранее в компании из США признавали, что давление доллара было заметным и в России.
Решение изменить цены принято после оценки макроэкономических показателей на этих рынках. Рост цен глава корпорации назвал в отдельных странах «более значительным».

Список государств топ-менеджер не назвал, но, по данным Reuters, среди них — Россия, Бразилия и Турция. Падение объемов продаж iPhone зафиксировано и в Китае.
30 января в Apple заявили, что с 1 октября по 29 декабря 2018 года от продаж iPhone выручка компании снизилась на 15%. Впервые за десять лет произошло падение и чистой прибыли Apple за первый квартал финансового года.
