В Беларуси приведен в исполнение очередной смертный приговор — расстрелян осужденный за убийство трех человек Александр Жильников. О судьбе второго осужденного по тому же делу — Вячеслава Сухарко — пока ничего не известно. Об этом сообщает лишенный регистрации в Беларуси правозащитный центр «Весна».

Приведен в исполнение смертный приговор в отношении Александра Жильникова. Об этом координатору кампании «Правозащитники против смертной казни в Беларуси» Андрею Полуде сообщили родственники осужденного. Пока что судьба второго фигуранта дела — Вячеслава Сухарко — неизвестна. Но, как показывает практика, приговоры в отношении всех осужденных к высшей мере по одному делу приводятся в исполнение одновременно.
В ПЦ «Весна» сообщили, что 30 мая адвокат была на свидании с Александром Жильниковым, где они составляли жалобу в Генеральную прокуратуру на рассмотрение дела по вновь открывшимся обстоятельствам. Сегодня, 13 июня, адвокат отправилась в СИЗО № 1, чтобы продолжить работу по жалобе, однако там ей сказали, что Александр Жильников «убыл по приговору». Адвокат уточнила, означает ли это, что он расстрелян, на что получила подтверждение этой информации.
Официальное сообщение об исполнении приговора будет направлено родственникам из Минского городского суда согласно установленной процедуре. Родственникам смертников, как правило, не сообщают о предстоящем расстреле и не предоставляют последнее свидание перед казнью. В соответствии с белорусским законодательством, тела расстрелянных не выдаются родственникам для захоронения, а место их захоронения не сообщается.
Также отмечается, что в Комитете ООН по правам человека на рассмотрении находится индивидуальное обращение Александра Жильникова.
За что Жильникова приговорили к смертной казни
Напомним, в декабре 2015-го в столичной квартире на улице Алибегова в Минске нашли тела убитой пары: 24-летней девушки и 32-летнего парня. Оказалось, за 2 миллиона рублей «старыми» другая минчанка попросила двух знакомых «отправить» девушку в больницу, чтобы тем временем вернуть бывшего парня. Те, будучи пьяными, позарились на имущество в квартире и убили обоих. На телах эксперты насчитали полторы сотни ран.
За день до того в Колодищах обвиняемые расправились с мужчиной, который хранил дома 10 тысяч долларов.
Весной 2017-го мужчин приговорили к пожизненному заключению, но Верховный суд отправил дело на пересмотр и решил казнить мужчин, а женщине-заказчице назначил 12 лет лишения свободы.
24-летний Вячеслав Сухарко признавал вину полностью и просил себя расстрелять. А вот 44-летний Александр Жильников винил во всем подельника. Говорил, что он сам «не убивал, не душегуб».

Смертная казнь в Беларуси
Беларусь остается единственным в Европе и СНГ государством, где применяется смертная казнь. С 1990 года в Беларуси было расстреляно более 400 приговоренных к высшей мере наказания. За все это время был помилован лишь один человек.
В 2018 году в Беларуси казнили четырех человек: неоднократно судимого жителя Наровли Алексея Михаленю, который в марте 2016 года совершил убийство соседей-пенсионеров; Виктора Летова, который в 2017 году был признан виновным в убийстве сокамерника в исправительной колонии в Глубоком, а также двух фигурантов дела «черных риелторов» Семена Бережного и Игоря Гершанкова.
В январе 2019 года в Беларуси был вынесен очередной смертный приговор — 36-летний бобруйчанин Александр Осипович был приговорен к смертной казни за убийство двух девушек с особой жестокостью.
Последний раз мнение белорусов по поводу смертной казни массово изучалось на референдуме 1996 года. Тогда на голосование вынесли вопрос: «Поддерживаете ли вы отмену смертной казни в Республике Беларусь?». 80% ответили «нет», и лишь 17% — положительно.
