Речь идет о продукции Slime Mega Mix, «Желейная» с маркировкой Slime ninja, «Эластик», «Жвачка для рук», а также наборы для творчества «Пластишка», — все они не соответствуют требованиям технического регламента Таможенного союза «О безопасности игрушек». Небезопасную продукцию выявили в магазинах Витебской и Гомельской области.
Как отмечается на сайте Госстандарта, исследование показало, что индекс токсичности в большинстве игрушек не соответствовал установленным значениям. В игрушке Slime Mega Mix уровень миграции формальдегида был выше более чем в восемь раз, уровень миграции пропилового спирта почти в 28 раз больше допустимого значения. Уровень миграции фенолов в наборах теста для лепки «Пластишка» был выше в четыре-семь раз. Интенсивность запаха в некоторых исследованных образцах превышала установленную норму в два раза.
Несоблюдение данных показателей безопасности создает риск для состояния здоровья детей — может привести к возникновению аллергических реакций и отравлений. Токсические вещества, такие как формальдегид, метиловый, бутиловый и пропиловый спирты, попадая в организм ребенка при контакте через кожу, глотании частиц краски, вдыхании, воздействуют на центральную нервную систему ребенка, вызывают дерматиты. Пары этих веществ даже в небольшой концентрации раздражают слизистые оболочки глаз и дыхательных путей и представляют особую угрозу для детей, имеющих хронические заболевания органов дыхания.
Изготовлены игрушки были российскими и китайскими компаниями, импортеры — организации из Минска, Гомеля, Жлобина.
