Командованием одной из воинских частей в Слонимском гарнизоне проводится проверка по факту травм у солдата. Одна из версий — членовредительство с целью уклонения от службы, сообщает пресс-служба Минобороны.

Утром 15 июля Telegram-канал NEXTA сообщил, что в минувшую субботу солдат-срочник порезал себе вены (призван на службу осенью 2018-го), якобы пытаясь покончить с собой.

Пресс-служба Минобороны выпустила заявление: информация о попытке суицида не соответствует действительности. «Военнослужащий демонстративно нанес себе несколько царапин рук, не представляющих опасности для жизни», — сообщили в ведомстве.

Командованием части уже начата проверка, чтобы выяснить, есть ли основания для возбуждения уголовного дела в отношении солдата. Поскольку за отказ от несения службы путем умышленного нанесения себе травм (членовредительство) или симуляции болезни предусмотрена уголовная ответственность. За это грозит вплоть до 7 лет лишения свободы.
